Ironically, since I insisted on drawing my first cover for Marvel at print size, budget cuts at Marvel UK resulted in the last five covers for the Captain Britain monthly being drawn and coloured at A4 (to suit a new small screened scanner) this meant the art had to be enlarged for publication. I also discovered with issue 11 that the new scanning process could 'see- through' the gouache I used to obscure the figure in the doorway and it could not register any gradation in the purple tone I used to model the house.
